Sunflower Power Smoothie

Power breakfasts are so important.

We all know that breakfast is most vital meal of the day, and rightfully so!

Did you know that within the first hour of waking up that we need protein to:

This has certainly been a game changer for me, and I believe it will be a benefit to your wellness lifestyle too!

Lately I have been loving on sunflower butter and green bananas- the earthiness of the sunbutter blends beautifully with the creaminess of the banana!

The power comes in from the "power greens" and protein powder, which makes for a perfect power breakfast!

Sunflower Power Smoothie

serves 1-2

8-10 ounces unsweetened almond milk or water

1 Tablespoon sunflower butter, unsweetened

1-2 cups frozen power greens

1/2 to 1 frozen green banana (or slightly yellow)

1 cup frozen broccoli or zucchini, optional (sounds strange, but I love it!)

dash cinnamon

1/2 to 1 Tablespoon chia seeds (however much your body is comfortable with)

1 Tablespoon cacao powder

1 opened capsule of Bee pollen, as a garnish, if desired

stevia, if desired

Simply blend all the ingredients together, savor it and flourish!
