Carrot Cake Smoothie

Mornings can be a whirlwind, but make sure to enjoy some protein to get your body going! No need to sacrifice flavor or convenience; when you give your body the gift of this Carrot Cake smoothie, cravings for sugary foods will fade away with this fast meal.

Although cooked carrots are called for in this recipe, raw carrots can be used as well. Steam some extra carrots the night before and chill them in the fridge to make for an easy breakfast smoothie!

Carrot Cake Smoothie

6 ounces purified water

6 ounces unsweetened milk of choice (coconut, cashew, almond)

squeeze or slice of organic orange (optional)

1-2 cups ice (optional)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup steamed organic carrot slices

2 scoops Love and Peas Sugar Free protein powder
