H.A.R.S.H.© vs. F.L.A.V.O.R. foods
We all want to eat the foods that are best and that will give us the most nutritious fuel possible, right? I know I do!
Several years ago when I was preparing to teach a kids summer wellness camp, I was praying about how to present the difference between God's healthy foods and the foods that are harmful to our bodies. As an answer to prayer, God gave me the acronym of "H.A.R.S.H.©" to share with the students. Little did I know that this acronym would be used to teach many others and be in the nutrition introduction of my Cook 2 Flourish Cookbook!
Even though there are foods that we may be accustomed to eating that have some of the H.A.R.S.H.© ingredients in them, thankfully there are a plethora of F.L.A.V.O.R. foods for us to enjoy in their place!
Here are the two lists of foods that you can take a look at and use as you peruse the aisles of the grocery store... and perhaps as you clean out your pantry.
