Cook Those Collards...

Reminiscent of Swiss Chard, Collard Greens are stellar leafy green to enjoy!

One of my top ways to use it as mentioned in our Cook 2 Flourish Cookbook is to make a "Favorito Burrito!"

How To:

1. Simply heat some water or bone broth in a skillet and bring to a boil to create steam. 2. Then, lay your large collard leaf on top of the steamy pan for 1-2 minutes or until it slightly softens.

3. Remove from heat and pat dry.

4. Next, choose your filling, and your meal is made!

(Today I enjoyed a pastured/organic egg salad made with celery seeds, dried onion, sea salt and Avocado mayo + shredded zucchini + mashed avocado)

This is not your ordinary fast food... take a look at what these Collards have to offer!

So, my friends, the next time you are at your Farmer's Market or health food store, pick up some Collards!

Happy cooking!
